…………Within photographs of certain environments, globes of light appear often and unintentionally. Many have likened them to the presence of spirits. Whether or not this is accurate is unknown to us, but one can investigate the reasoning behind it - Causes that can be attributed to "natural" phenomenon are not always known to us, if present at all. Works by Emilio Lovisa (Vancouver, BC, Canada), of course, have been made with deliberate intention. Under the surface, however, it is possible that the artist is somehow attuned to this unknowable region of our existence.
